Schmitt, CPA, CFP
Bryan Schmitt is a Tax Partner of the firm. He has been involved in the accounting profession for nearly 20 years in the Denver metropolitan area. Bryan has a diverse tax and financial background, having performed work on many different types of clients in a variety of industries.
He has worked extensively with the Internal Revenue Service and various state authorities on audits and problem resolutions. Also a certified financial planner, Bryan was a member of the faculty of the College for Financial Planning for over 10 years.
He has written articles for such publications as the Journal of Taxation and Best's Insurance Review. Bryan also has been quoted as an expert authority in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, Money Magazine and numerous local publications.
Bryan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also is the treasurer for the Arapahoe High School Girls Basketball Booster Club. He received his accounting degree from the University of Northern Colorado and his Masters in Taxation from the University of Denver. Bryan is a Colorado native.
